About Us
Our Mission
Our goal at myNeeds SG is to reduce national food waste, and we found that the recipients of food donations may not receive the goods that they want so it may be thrown away.
In collaboration with Foodbank Singapore, myNeeds SG is a platform developed by students at Republic Polytechnic Singapore to allow recipients of food donations to reserve the food that they want according to their dietary restrictions.
Furthermore, we surmised that some Singaporeans may be unable to go down to Food Bank Singapore vending machines or warehouses to collect the food themselves, so we decided to collaborate with food delivery companies GrabFood and FoodPanda to send riders to assist in delivering the foods at a subsidised fee or

Food Donation
Reservation and Selection
In collaboration with Foodbank SG, low-income families can reserve the food that is available instead of just being given or taking what is left.
Donation Delivery
In collaboration with food delivery companies GrabFood and FoodPanda, riders can give back to the community by delivering food to those in need, for customers who are unable to go to FoodBank Singapore vending machines themselves at a subsidised delivery fee.
